Happy Bobday, Emily

Emily's 19th birthday, her cake request was Silent Bob. This is my favorite italian chocolate buttermilk cake recipe, but this time instead of a buttercream icing, I tried my hand at rolled fondant. Amazingly easy, a bit lumpy on the cover, but made stencil application/removal a breeze. Even got to get Bob's goatee/mouth as a separate piece. Too bad it doesn't taste very good...we all picked it off and ate the cake alone (which was still covered in buttercream to let the fondant adhere).
